Clove oil, the active ingredient in Sprout Torch™, is a natural compound that burns peeps and sprouts at the surface of the potato. In just a few days following application, most visible sprouts turn black, dry up, and ultimately drop away. Sprout Torch™ effectively ‘refreshes’ the appearance of the potatoes and is an ideal treatment to rescue potatoes that have begun to sprout in storage.
